The XXI World Congress of Dermatology, held under the auspices of the International League of Dermatological Societies, took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October.

This was a hugely successful five day Congress and it must be noted that a large part of this success was due to the professionalism, enthusiasm and commitment of the organizers, Ana Juan Congresos, which managed the Congress with apparent ease, showing enormous experience in this field.

We would have no hesitation in appointing Ana Juan Congresos again should we have the opportunity.

I was recently involved in the organization of the XXIInd Congress of the International Primatological Society (IPS) at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The meeting, attended by over 1200 delegates from more than 50 different countries went very, very smoothly, especially those portions that directly involved Meeting Makers personnel. I feel that they did an excellent job of keeping us on track and I was in awe of their calm and composure during the typical pre-meeting frenzy during the two weeks immediately preceding the Congress. Their ability to effortlessly handle potentially problematic situations helped us to remain calm during a volatile time. This was a benefit to us and our Society that is difficult to quantify, yet is greatly appreciated.

In summary, it was a pleasure working with the Meeting Makers staff. Their efforts were directly responsible for the positive experiences that I and our Society’s members had at the Congress.

Should I have the need to organize another conference in the UK, I would definitely use Meeting Makers.
